Manchester Rehearsal - North West Based

We currently looking for a Trumpet player to join our 8 piece Blues Funk Soul and Motown band. Our band comprises of female vocals, keys, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet and trombone and has an age range from mid-20’s up to people in their 50’s.

While we have a very high standard of musicianship in the group, which ranges from fully qualified music teachers, instrument tutors, etc and people with a long history of playing, we all see this the band as something we enjoy doing and not as a “job”. We all pay our mortgages by other means, so anyone solely after “the money” would be discouraged from applying. We play a large range of gigs from pubs and clubs to weddings birthdays and corporate events around the greater Manchester area.

All the brass parts are scored and can range from very easy pieces in simple key signatures to some very complex parts in multiple flats or sharps. While an ability to ad-lib solos would be nice it is not essential
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible so if you are interested please contact Andy either via email souldoutband@hotmail.co.uk or mobile 0787 652 8016.
Further information about the band can be found on our website.
