just seen this on of their blog sites..

"Everything has to come to an end sooner or later, and this time it was The Fleece to come to a sticky end because of one idiot who likes spoiling things for others - Michael Moulding who is a complete asshole and it is all because of him that a great venue is finally closing its large green doors for good, but very fitting that Roadhog would be the last band to play, shutting the door on some brilliant memories forever."

Dunno whats going on...we got couple of gigs their soon

Update from Jarvis, yes it is sold, yes it is going to be residential. This will take time (well not overnight anyways), for now and the foreseeable, gigs will be honoured, being real that is not a guarantee of anything.

So, if you have any gigs coming up in the near, keep in touch with the Fleece to confirm, realistically any long term gigs are doubtful.

Joke of a setup there. Nobody knows what's happening. Getting mixed info from the staff and management. Chinese whispers. It's utterly garbage. Bands been kept in the dark. We was told at our gig last Friday that it would be the last weekend of bands. Played 3 plus hours and packed the place. Speeches were made etc etc. It's making us all look stupid and taking the piss really.

I'm glad this weekend is still on, as I will be going watching my friends 'The Three' on Saturday. But then will never set foot in the place again !!
