And what are they ?

Okay chaps and chappesses

Only 18 Days to Christmas, so now is the time to be Jolly.

Does anyone do any Christmas songs, I'm curious and what are they?

I know I'd love to hear a rocked up version of Frosty the Snowman

So if you don't maybe you should all start practising for next year cos thats only 55 weeks away and you all know how time flies :) hehe

Did I mention it's only 18 days away !!!

I suppose we could alter some lyrics to fit the festive season?

Bartender and the Elf?
Play that Frosty Music?
Video killed the Xmas Tree Star?
Hungry like the Elf?

@ Mick - am liking your suggestions
but don't mess with Duran, it's already perfection and it would probably upset a few elves :)

If anyone plays " I Believe In Father Christmas" I will love them forever as it's my fav Xmas song of all time.
Duo I used to be in many moons ago played Slade and also Last Xmas for the social club masses.

Best wishes

Someone should write "Away And In Danger" ... for all our troops away over the festive period. Damn why didn't I think of that 2 months ago ... would've been Xmas number 1!!

p.s. I'll just take a 25% cut for the title

Don`t bother anymore, but once upon a time we used to throw in a little Christmas cheer with these relatively unknown tracks - all cracking tunes

Back Door Santa- Bon Jovi
Run Run Rudolph- Bryan Adams
Merry Christmas Baby - Bruce Springsteen.

I`m feeling all warm and toastie inside just thinking about it...sigh

We do a Christmas medley of about twelve Christmas songs.

It's a good little laugh.

We do love our medleys!

the first time we played it(merry xmas everybody) was Euxton wmc. I went to get a santa outfit but they had all gone, so i got the next best thing. a Popeye out fit!!!!! yeah, I dont know why either!!! any way, I just managed to fit a radio headset mike inside the massive foam head it came with, sounded a bit muffled but made everybody laff!! was going well untill i fell off the stage coz I couldnt see very well. bloody funny, even made the rest of the lads stop playing!!!

one of my favourites is Fairytale of New York - used to teach sign language & this was always a fab song to get students thinking and would have the audiance at charity events doubled in two....... aww memories, why did I get involved in pub trade lol

I also love Fairytale of New York, me and one of our regulars do it regularly through the year on karaoke, just because he's so good at it, that and I always like to mess things up a bit, me and my sister once sang Frosty the Snowman in the middle of May, got a few funny looks, but people enjoyed it.

PS its good to be back, thanks Paul
