Better late never......:-)
For the first time ever (apart from when we're on holiday), we decided to get out of our pub and watch a couple of bands. Friday night was great as I managed to catch Riff Raff, a band that I have heard so much about for a long time. They lived up to all the expectations and beyond and our customers are delighted that 2010 will bring them to the Old Bank.......so looking forward to this one guys (and ofcourse another hug from Ian lol).
Saturday night was another fantastic night watching the 45s......... I had booked these guys for next year purely on recomendations from others...........but I honestly didn't realise just how good these guys were gonna be!!!!!! It's really difficult to explain, but I suppose the best way to explain is that it was not like watching most bands, as these guys put on a fully entertaining 'SHOW' (wow you don't get a light show like this very often in a pub), that was faultless and just oooooozzzed enthusiasm. Everything from their choice of music (which everyone will love), crowd participation and fantastic light show, was way beyond our expectations.............I can't wait for these guys to play at our venue, the customers are in for one hellava treat!!!!! Cheers for the T-shirt Rick, it's ready and waiting lol, and tell Ann I look forward to having a drink with her when your at ours.........(and there will be plenty of them opportunities ;-)
