to mr nwb

thanks for this site to Paul (Mr NWB), it has quickly become even more popular than it already was and very valuable to many of us on here

i nearly left the site in the last couple of weeks, and you know how much ive sung its praises over the last coupla years,

as i was very disappointed at some of the postings (unfortunately 2 good friends of mine have left the site and i and im sure many others hope to see them back soon )

i nearly did the same, however im glad i stayed.

it is still great,

and i hope this is a real heads up for everybody, lets move forward :-)

there will never be a time when everybody agrees, particularly in the passion that is music, but we ALL have different opinions and are entitled to them, even if they are controversial, goodness knows i and im sure all of us have disagreed with at least one thing posted over the last coupla years on this site, doesnt mean what was said was wrong, or that we individually know best ,keep talking to each other and more importantly listening, if we dont agree on something, stand back

keep rocking it up, and enjoy this site and in the spirit it was created

p.s i have never been a moderator (with my sense of humour i would allow all sorts of dodgy innuendos thru the fishing net) :-)

Rob

Hooorah and hoorayyy ... thanks Paul

For my part , I know I never take anything too seriously and I'm always ready with an opinion, well, not AN opinion, MY opinion ... I've been guilty of responding in all kinds of manner to various blogs, but if i disagree with something so much then it just gets ignored. Ignorance .... it's the future!!

So to all my fellow NWBers I say to you now ... (best Churchill voice .. ) "Oooh yeess", no not that Churchill (Ed..) Never has so much been done by so few (one man) for so many to bring a voice and a community to the North West's musicians.

Let's not spoil it eh?

Willow's rule of thumb ... if you don't like it , say so, if it happens again, say you don't like it again, if it happens again, ignore it!!

NWB is dead, long live NWB!!!

I'm as confused now as i were before. I still don't understand whats been happening or been 'going wrong' on here. I think it may be down to the lack of my (in)famous "ritter blog", which is so fun it makes the world go round.
Glad NWB back online anywho.

Its a collector's item now innit?? I know mine went on ebay for £16.48 (oooooops!)

p.s. also off topic - the response to NWB Compilation II was not enough to release a product.
Maybe in the new year I'll start another one.

@ Rick and anyone else who sends or receives outside of the EU.......

The gift thing is a Phallacy!
Regardless of whether an item is a gift, a commercial sample or whatever..........
If its over about £40 in value its still liable to :

VAT - 15%
Import duty - 4%
the couriers administration fee - from £8 to £15 approx

on : the stated value PLUS the cost of the Postage

BEWARE! What may seem cheap.......... ain't always!
