Why is it when you have a break you get loads of gig offers.

Why is it when you have a break you get loads of gig offers.

Next week our singer gets married and is off on honeymoon for a couple of weeks. During this break we've been offered loads of gigs. Should we hijack the wedding??

Anyway if he's not exhausted from the honeymoon we still have some dates available in Jan/Feb 2010

There is always a lot of gig offers at this time of year. Venues who don't normally have bands on decide it's a good idea for the festive period.
Seems to happen every year.
