Silly season officialy underway this weekend

I know a lot of us have been complaining of poor turnouts in recent weeks but i think it is safe tosay that the silly seaon officialy gets under way this weekend. Here's hoping everyone on NWB, both bands and venues, has a succesful festive season, plays to full houses of drunken folks looking to have a good time and that it goes on to kick the local live scene into action in 2010.

Have a good one everyone and bands drive safe, think twice about that post gig pint as plod is out there looking to get brownie points......It's not worth it! Wait til you get me and then get mullered.

Silly season you're dead right the place that booked us for boxing night has just cancelled the bustards

Not a good start eh? We had a 'penciled in' booking for Boxing night and we were undercut by a band from Birmingham driving up here for £200!!! What's that all about eh?

Nice one Wolfpack. Take it east on your travels lads and ladys. Police checkpoints out all over Darwen and Warrington in the last couple of weeks. Have a good Xmas and New Year and see you all on the other side for a less controversial 2010.
