Great To See Butchers Rammed

Thanks to all who came down to the butchers last night, especially to Shell, Harry & Co, Metalleeka Gareth and to Baz from Tuscan! If we weren't gigging i don't think any of us would have ventured out ourselves last night but we're certainly glad that so many turned out to see us, well in excess of 200 in The Butchers last night and they'd all come to see us which is bloody fantastic! We were only saying last night that if our absent friends had been able to make it then they would not have got in.

The downside was the wait that people had for taxis! We ourselves had a few and left the gear to collect to day and it was a nightmare getting home! We now have the added shite of having to go back today, it's snowing heavily here too, and getting the gear.......rock n roll leh?

Nidge - first time seeing you guys and I thought you were awesome. Best choice of songs I have seen a band play - opens up the debate really do you play all the songs people know or throw in some obscure ones that make it different - I'm firmly in the latter camp.

Thought the musicianship was top notch - impressed with the Halford scream there mate.

And a guest appearance from Kyle of Tenacious D on drums - lol

Anybody who hasn't seen these guys needs to get their arse down to the next gig.

A top night..Baz

cheers Baz much appreciated mate!
I always love the response we get to Battlte Hymns as no one makes a sound when we announce it then the roof generally goes off at the end of it, best choice of song in my opinion as i don't see many others even attempting it really! It could be poentially awful but it suits my voice down to the ground!
