Important Info for All Bands Booked at the Crown in Chorley

Just been speaking to a very upset Sharon who went out of her way to book over 30 gigs for the Crown next year. She found out from a friend that they are shutting and asked WHY no bands or indeed herself have been informed. NO EXPLANATION was given. Please don't contact Sharon in regards to this as she is very upset and feels she has had the piss taken after all the hard work she put in to get bands on. Contact the people who own the Crown as I doubt they will contact any bands. I will post their number as soon as I get it

it seems there are quite a few venues like this. We were discussing the situation at the charity do, some places want to just sit back and let it happen without putting anything in themselves, then whinge if it doesn't make them shit loads virtually immedietely. Damn shame about the whole thing

thanks for the info looks like we got some free dates to book again pity we turned some down for these dates no worries and not sharons fault ,guess its back to the phone for new venues
