Canadian success, Magic Trees have returned to Lancashire to play some music and release their new album, “Another Way To Exist,” which was recorded in St. Annes last summer! The group, hailing from Saskatchewan, Canada, consists of two couples whose shared love of travel and music has introduced them to a different way of life.

Magic Trees 2012 tour of the Northwest features shows with original songs from their two albums as well as classic rock covers from favourite artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Who, Nazareth, Cream, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Police and The Kinks.

Story of the Trees
The four members of Magic Trees met as actors performing Shakespeare in an outdoor festival and became close friends before ever playing music together. After honing their craft playing at parties, dances, and local clubs, they decided to use music as their vehicle to take them around the world. They put together a fun, high-energy show that combines bluesy rhythms, rock beats, a 70’s-sounding organ, a touch of acoustic guitar and tight vocal harmonies. They recorded their debut CD “Everything Is A Song” in October 2010 and in addition to playing those songs, they picked a selection of 70s rock covers that they felt complemented the style of their original music.

Magic Trees has toured constantly since it's inception in 2010, playing virtually every weekend in cities and towns across the Canadian prairies. In March 2011, the group embarked on a new adventure, traveling to the UK to spend a glorious summer playing music, meeting interesting people, and writing and recording a brand new disc.

After spending the winter touring Canada's Prairie Provinces, Magic Trees are excited to be back the UK for another summer of music and travel! Known to some as the "Official Party People," the group is ready to have a good time and share the new songs that were inspired by their last visit to the NorthWest.

This year when the group performs, they will do so as a five piece having added Fylde coast bassist Craig Kennerley (formerly of Twisted Romance) to the ranks for the tour.
