I've been writing songs for a number of years and I record them in my modest loft studio. Three of my tunes have been played on local radio and two have won competitions

I'm a big fan of The Beatles and I also like early 70s prog rock, and rock music in general. Rock bands that tickle my fancy are: Sabbath, Rush, Queen, Zep - that sort of thing. But I like many other kinds of music as well - bands too numerous to mention...

I've been in a few bands, all of which I was invited to join and only two of which ever got around to doing any gigs. I was usually the rhythm guitarist or rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist. Until early 2010 I was playing bass in a band called Turtle Z but I left due to that old chestnut, musical differences
